Gordon is a corporate communications specialist with more than 10 years’ experience advising clients on media and stakeholder engagement strategy.
He has advised clients across a range of sectors and specialisms, from building and enhancing the profile of CEOs to safeguarding and protecting the reputation of global listed firms.
A former journalist, Gordon uses his experience and understanding of the news industry to craft and execute campaign-based reputation management approaches for clients. Some of his past clients have included: British Telecom, eBay, Johnson & Johnson, GlaxoSmithKline, Bayer, The Economist Group, Abraaj Capital, UHY Group and Pinsent Masons.
Gordon joined Hawthorn in 2019 from global agency Porter Novelli (Omnicom Group). He is a graduate of Loughborough University where he graduated with a BA in English Literature, before taking an MA in journalism.
