Will Chaffer is an Analyst at Hawthorn, supporting with corporate and financial PR.
Will supports his accounts with research, analysis and media outreach, contributing to developing comprehensive communications strategies. He also cultivates media relations through press releases, media strategies and managing industry connections.
Before joining Hawthorn, Will completed an MSC in Entrepreneurship at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass Business School) and a BA in Classics from the University of Exeter.
Outside of work, Will is a keen sportsman and reader of spy novels and philosophy.
Tiann is an Analyst who joined Hawthorn in 2023 where she supports private and listed clients across various sectors with analysis, research and media outreach.
Prior to joining Hawthorn, Tiann worked at FGS Global where she worked across financial, corporate and digital communications. She also supported clients with their ESG communications, particularly focusing on diversity, equity and inclusion. She also has experience in B2C social media and influencer marketing.
Tiann graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2020 with an LLB in Law, where she took particular interest in human rights and volunteered with Amnesty International.
Outside of work, Tiann enjoys live music and can often be found at a concert.
Natasha Wilson is an Analyst at Hawthorn, supporting our clients with research, analysis, political engagement, and media relations across several sectors including sustainability, AI, financial services, and luxury.
Prior to joining Hawthorn, Natasha worked as a communications and research analyst for a start-up social enterprise providing last-mile EV transport solutions to rural communities in Zimbabwe. She also has experience in digital content creation and working on gender equality campaigns in the UK.
Natasha graduated from the University of Bristol with a BSc in Politics and International Relations in 2021. She focused her studies on human rights and the gendered dimensions of conflict and peacebuilding. In her final year, she wrote a dissertation on the UN’s Women Peace and Security agenda, conducting a policy analysis on the UNSC resolutions relating to conflict-related sexual violence. Whilst at Bristol, she also worked as an academic research assistant on a project that assessed the role of victim delegations in the 2016 Colombian peace agreement.
Outside of work, Natasha is a keen runner, dabbles in social netball, loves cooking for her friends and enjoys hiking… occasionally.
Lucy joined Hawthorn as an Analyst in 2023 and provides research and media outreach for clients across a range of sectors.
Prior to starting at Hawthorn, Lucy was a reporter for the Scottish Daily Mail and MailOnline, where she covered general news, politics, and lifestyle. She also joined the MailOnline’s Royals desk for the Coronation of King Charles III.
Lucy graduated from Oxford University with a First-Class degree in Chinese Studies and spent time studying Beijing and Taiwan. She also holds an MA in Newspaper Journalism from City, University of London.
Jon Taylor is an Analyst who joined Hawthorn in 2023.
He works across strategic communications and public affairs, helping to deliver both press and parliamentary engagement for a variety of financial services, fintech and energy clients.
Prior to joining Hawthorn, Jon worked at a leading insurtech startup in London. Alongside PR work experience and a spell as a columnist for his student paper, he has also spent time in the office of his local MP, gaining insights into national and local politics. Jon graduated from the University of Cambridge with a First-Class BA in Human, Social and Political Sciences and holds an MA in Political Philosophy from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.
Jon is a keen cricketer, and plays 5-a-side football every weekend.
Hatty is an Analyst who joined Hawthorn in 2022, after successfully completing the summer internship the same year.
She supports on accounts across multiple different sectors, providing research, analysis and media monitoring and outreach.
Hatty recently graduated from the London School of Economics where she achieved a BSc in Economics and Philosophy.
In her spare time, Hatty enjoys experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes as well as playing tennis.
Alice joined Hawthorn as an Analyst in 2023 and helps deliver political engagement for a variety of clients across different sectors.
Prior to joining Hawthorn, Alice worked as a Parliamentary Researcher for a Conservative MP at the House of Commons for two years. She provided a range of support and advice and regularly produced research and briefings, including on Treasury Select Committee meetings. She also wrote a successful policy proposal on the roll-out of specialist Sexual Offence Courts across England that was published by the Ministry of Justice.
Alice graduated from the University of Andrews with a degree in International Relations and spent time studying in Germany.
She grew up in Sydney and London and rowed to a nationally-competitive level. Outside of work, Alice still enjoys team sports and plays in a weekly netball league.
