Our team

Christian May is an experienced media and communications professional who has worked at the highest levels of journalism and corporate affairs. He served as Editor in Chief of City A.M., the daily business and financial newspaper, from 2015 to 2021 before joining Teneo as a Managing Director, acting as a senior advisor on strategic communications to the leadership of businesses including Tesco, NatWest and Nissan. Before entering journalism he was Head of Communications and Public Affairs at the Institute of Directors, the UK’s oldest business organisation. Christian is an experienced broadcast media commentator, and a Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts, Manufacturers and Commerce; a Fellow of the British American Project; and a member of the Advisory Council at the Institute of Economic Affairs.
