Ben is the co-founder of Hawthorn and co-founder of Quintessentially, the luxury lifestyle group and 24-hour global concierge service, which he started in London in December 2000.
Since 2000, Quintessentially has established itself as the leading luxury lifestyle group encompassing 32 expert sister businesses with over 60 offices worldwide. Available to both members and non-members, the Quintessentially Group now offers a wide range of specialist lifestyle services from access to fine wines, private jets, property and luxury cars, to fine art, bespoke gifting, event planning, communications, design and much more.
Ben is also a non-executive director of You Gov plc and the executive producer of the award-winning documentary Fire in Babylon. He was proudly involved in the fundraising for Her Majesty The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. He is a regular contributor to the FT, New York Times, Country Life and Tatler amongst other publications and has been a guest on Newsnight on a number of occasions.
Ben was educated at Eton College and graduated with a BSc in Politics from the University of Bristol. He is married with one son and lives in West London. He is passionate about London, cricket and Dorset.
