Dame Heather Rabbatts CBE,
Heather is a qualified Barrister and has held a number of senior executive positions across the public sector, sport and broadcasting. After a decade as a CEO of local authorities, which included a turnaround at the London Borough of Lambeth and supporting major regeneration initiatives of the South Bank, in particular the London Eye, Heather moved into broadcasting. Other roles include Governor of the BBC, Senior Executive at Channel 4, and Chairman of Shed Media.
Heather has worked in private equity and public markets including the restructuring of Millwall Football Club, securing the involvement of an American investment banker and their sporting promotion. And she has held a number of non-executive positions including the Bank of England, the London School of Economics and the Royal Opera House.
She is at present establishing a media production company; is an advisor to Arts Alliance; a non-executive on the Board of Grosvenor GBI PLC and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office; the first female member of the Board of the Football Association; and a non-executive on the Board of the Metropolitan Film School.
